Hello, Fellow Lions, Lionesses, and Leos! District 9MC is over 1,400 members strong, living in seven counties: Grundy, Story, Marshall, Tama, Polk, Jasper, and Poweshiek. Thank you for your commitment to Lionism. I’m proud to serve as your District Governor and am looking forward to a challenging, exciting year with you. I have a strong Cabinet - a number of Lions who have agreed to help us this year in the administration of our District. Check the District Organization link and contact these Lions, Lionesses, and Leos for information and visits to your club. Please check our District Calendar often as we will be posting our Club activities and service and training opportunities.

Visitors to this site, please take some time to learn who we are and how we serve our communities, the state, and the world. If you are interested in joining the world’s largest service organization, or if you are aware of a community need, please contact me or a Lion in your community.

“Challenge to Change” is our international theme this year with a major component of membership growth. With growth we can provide more service, bring new and fresh ideas and new perspectives so important to our future success. Let’s work together to make our current Clubs stronger and grow Lionism in our world.
